We generally list from 10-15 single family homes as short sales on Sanibel and Captiva Islands and around 3-5 condominiums. Sanibel and Captiva have come down in value 20-30% and many a great deal can be made today. Our inventory is larger than it has ever been and one need not only look for a short sale here to make a great deal. Not many short sales on Sanibel are listed far below market price to entice you to buy. So the buyer is not restricted to short sales when looking to buy at an excellent price.
We experienced more sales during this season than the previous seasons, but we are not even close to the sales we used to have. Here I show you some short sales listings and their prices.
