Golf Course Communities   Lee County has golf communities to serve every economic level. There are very high end country clubs with designer name courses; there are mid-level communities with bundled golf charges, and there are communities on or near pay as you play courses. Whatever your home price range is, Lee County probably has what you are looking for. There are dozens and dozens of golf courses and country clubs all over the county. Most golf course communities offer a variety of housing options; condominium apartments, townhomes, villas, carriage homes, single family homes and mansions. Listed below is some information on a number of our golf course communities. This list is not comprehensive. I have only chosen some of our developments. I have tried to add some for every level of golf and expense. The Forest  Also in South Fort Myers, just off Highway 41 before Estero. Two 18 hole courses - private country club community. Condominiums, townhomes, carriage homes, villas, single family homes. Prices from $200,000 to $500,000. The Legends In the Daniels corridor in South Fort Myers off of Fiddlesticks Road. A semi private, 18 hole course. Condominiums, carriage homes, villas and single family homes starting around $220,000. Gateway A Tom Fazio 18 hole course in the WCI community of Gateway. In north central Fort Myers out near the airport. This is a planned community with condominiums, carriage homes, villas and single family homes. Prices start around $300,000. This is a private course. Fort Myers Country Club An 18 hole pay-as-you-play public course on McGregor Boulevard. While there is not an established development of homes on the property, there are many older homes for sale in the same neighborhood. Herons Glen A North Fort Myers golfing community which is semi-private and has an 18 hole course. Villas and single family homes - prices start at around $200,000. The Dunes 18 hole course on Sandcastle Road on Sanibel Island. The course is semi-private but the homes start around the $600,000 price level. Eastwood One of the toughest public courses in Florida. There is a development right next door called Province Park with condominiums and villas from the $200's to the mid $400's. This is in central Fort Myers off of Colonial Blvd. Gulf Harbour Private and exclusive WCI community in South Fort Myers off McGregor Road. An 18 hole course. Condominiums, carriage homes, townhomes, villas, single family homes and estates. Price range is $250,000 to $10 million. Westminster A semi-private golf community in Lehigh Acres. An 18 holde course - condominiums, carriage homes and single family homes starting at $190,000. Colonial County Club A brand new Pulte Construction built community. Bundled golf prices for home owners. An 18 hole course. Condominiums, carriage homes, villas and single family homes. Prices start at $300,000. Pelican Preserve This 18 course is in the upscale WCI adult community called Pelican Preserve. It is off of Colonial Boulevard. There are condominiums, carriage homes, villas and single family homes. Prices start around $300,000. Shell Point Golf Club An 18 hole public course which is part of the large retirement community, Shell Point, just before the Causeway leading to Sanibel Island. Summerlin Ridge Golf Center This is an 18 hole executive course, mostly par 3's, along with a driving range, on Pine Ridge Road in South Fort Myers. Heritage Palms Golf & Country Club 36 holes of challenging golf. This is a semi-private club on Washington Palm Way just off of Six Mile Cypress in central Fort Myers. Lexington Country Club This is a semi private 18 hole course just across from Health Park Hospital on Summerlin in South Fort Myers. Prices start at $280,000. Miromar Lakes Golf Club A beautiful semi-private 18 hole course in Estero. It is on Miromar Lakes Boulevard next to Florida Gulf Coast University. Prices start at $500,000.
